Kendrick's dope. He's a breath of fresh air, flow and lyrics are so different, it's not "90's Westcoast", but I'm glad it's not. It's 2012 and 'good kid, mAAd city' is a solid record. He might not bring back the West, but who cares? His shit is dope and I'm glad he's here to show the current mainstream how to not to be afraid to be creative.

Listening to his album now for the 2nd day. What an overrated album in my opinion, I totally agree with Shyne. This is no classic album at all.

The beats are really wack and boring, plus in my opinion the raps are not really on a high level.

People overate things so much these days (in rap scene), because the whole average level is so low. People are happy too fast with things like this.

No way this is an classic album. Its an ok album, nothing more. I expected alot more after people claiming this album brings the west back and shit lol. WTF happened with the west sound LOL
