40 Glocc and The Game's beef came to a head back in early July, when the pair crossed paths at a Hollywood Hills mansion party. When the party ended, an altercation arose between the two outside the party... and it was caught on video.
In the wake of the incident, Game's camp leaked footage of the rapper beating up 40 while recording it on his iPhone.
Both sides had very different stories as to what happened though -- Game said he ran into 40, he beat him up one-on-one and they left, while 40 claims he was jumped by more than a dozen men, many of whom drew guns on him.
This week, TMZ.com reports that 40 Glocc (real name: Lawrence White) has filed a lawsuit against his L.A. rap peer over the incident, claiming he was caused bodily harm and had his rap image tarnished.
In court docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court recently, 40 says he was leaving a party, when he was jumped by Game and his 15-man entourage for no reason... with guns drawn, as he's maintained since July. He says he tried to escape ... but Game pointed the gun at his chest and told him not to fight back or he would "end it right now."
The lawsuit says 40 was severely injured as a result of the altercation, suffering injury to his right eye, ribs, kidneys, right shoulder and back... as well as his face, head, legs, arms and hands.
40 is seeking unspecified damages, claiming assault and battery, as well as incorrigible damage to his reputation and image as a rapper.
A source close to The Game maintains that the rapper, nor his entourage, pulled weapons on 40 Glocc, insisting it was "a one-on-one fight."
