  • 50 Cent Aiming To Bringing “Best Fights To Audiences” Across The Nation

Business mogul 50 Cent recently revealed plans for his latest venture, SMS Promotions, a new boxing company that has officially been granted a promoters license by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Earlier in the year, SMS Promotions was also granted a license in New York, paving the way for 50 Cent’s new company to compete in the boxing arena on a major level.

In July, 50 Cent revealed that SMS Promotions had already acquired four top contenders: Yuriorkis Gamboa, Andre Dirrell, Billy Dib and Celestino Caballero.

“I love boxing and have always been a big fan of the sport, so it feels especially great for me to be involved with the game at this level. My goal is to build SMS Promotions into one of boxing’s most respected promoters and bring the best fights to audiences nationwide,” Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said.

50 Cent and SMS Promotions have teamed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions to promote Yuriorkis Gamboa’s upcoming fight with a to-be-determined fighter on the Pacquiao-Marquez IV undercard on December 8, 2012.

The bout will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.

50 Cent is already promoting the brand aggressively to his 807,000 followers on Instagram.

This morning (November 17), 50 Cent posted a picture of himself standing with Oscar De La Hoya’s son.
