Rap star Lil Wayne will start the new year with a high-profile appearance during the Super Bowl, as well as a tour of Europe.
Lil Wayne will perform and host GQ’s annual Super Bowl party, which will take place February 2 in New Orleans.
The event, which is being sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and Lacoste, is invitation-only and being held at Elm’s Mansion.
Lil Wayne is guaranteeing guests of his Super Bowl party a great time.
“As a lifelong sports fan and a proud New Orleans native, I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year’s party,” Lil Wayne told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (December 20). “I ain’t got no worries that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever.”
In related Lil Wayne news, the rapper is heading overseas for an 15-date tour of Europe, that will see him traveling through countries like Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France and Germany.
And he’s bringing special guests Mac Miller and 2 Chainz, who will open up for the rapper on his European excursion.
