Nas is facing a possible new financial hurdle after being sued by a concert promoter who was kidnapped in December 2011 after the rapper failed to show for a concert in Angola.
As we previously reported, 51-year old Patrick Allocco, CEO of AllGood Concerts and his 22-year old son, also named Patrick were kidnapped by local Angola promoter Henrique "Riquhino" Miguel after Nas was paid $300,000 for a New Year's Eve concert, then failed to show.
The Allocco's passports were taken away and they were forced to stay at a hotel until Nas repaid the money he received.
Nas eventually returned the funds and the father and son were allowed to return back to the United States in February 2012.
TMZ is reporting that the elder Patrick Allocco filed a $10 million federal lawsuit against Nas on Friday. Allocco claims that while being held for 50 days he was beaten and constantly threatened.
Allocco also claims that because he was held so long he was unable to business, and as a result lost his home and his company.
