The tension between Meek Mill and Cassidy seems to have reached a boiling point. The two well respected Philadelphia rappers have been going back and forth on Twitter for a couple of months now.
A proposed battle between the two was supposed to take place, but Meek decided Cassidy wasn't "hot enough" and said there would be no battle.
Cassidy then released "Diary of a Hustler," a song that widely perceived as a Meek diss. Cassidy later went on The Breakfast Club and denied that was the case.
Last night things heated up again when Cassidy dropped the Meek Mill diss track "Me, Myself & iPhone." In the song he said Meek released "I'm a Boss" because he was riding Rick Ross' coattails and that all of his songs sound the same.
Meek responded on Twitter by saying Cassidy possibly snitched on his co-defendant in his 2006 murder trial by taking a plea deal, was locked up in protective custody and challenged Cassidy to battle him today, Saturday December 22.
Cassidy responded by saying he was only in protective custody a short amount of time and he has already given Meek plenty of time to accept a battle.
"They automatically put U on PC when U famous & in the newspaper. But I had pull.. So I got off after the 1st month, did 7 1/2 in population..FOH," Cass wrote.
Will there ever be a battle between these two? Hopefully so, then maybe they can shake hands and squash the beef.
