Maestro was the first one to refer to the album as ''The Red Album'', saying "The Game was in ATL recording and selecting tracks for his upcoming release 'The Red Album.' He picked new tracks I played AND already had some loaded and ready to go!". Maestro also mentioned several guest appearances on the album, "Other member's of Atlanta's production elite made appearances too; I heard crack from Tha Bizness, Drumma Boy, Hit Boy, Erick Sermon, and newcomer Rico Law, with engineer Ralph Cacciurri presiding on the SSL
The Game has been working on his next album, titled, ''The Red Album''. He's been working on it since the beginning of the year, while he's been on tour. Sources say he will have no featured rappers, however he is expected to be collaborating with a few singers. He's worked with producers of the likes of Kanye West, Pete Rock,Just Blaze, DJ Khaled, J.R. Rotem, Jelly Roll, Cool & Dre, Nottz, Scott Storch, The Neptunes, DJ Khalil, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, & Hi-Tek. Since the beginning of the year he's recorded over 100 songs for his new album. The Red Album should be released in November.The first single "I'll Find You" Produced By Kanye West should release in the next couple of months. He's planning on having 2-3 singles before the album actually releases.
On The Game's official Twitter page 'Compton Trash', he states that he has been/is going into the studio with Timbaland, DJ Premier, Polow Da Don, David Banner, and production duo Cool & Dre. He had also previously stated on his Twitter page, that he was writing to a Kanye West beat."
