Director twins, The Hughes Brothers, are behind various classic films from Dead Presidents to the 2010 Denzel Washington post-apocalyptic action film, The Book Of Eli. But, as many fans remember, their directorial debut came from the 1993 hood classic, Menace II Society.
During a sit-down for the SiriusXM show, Sway In The Morning, Allen Hughes took a trip down memory lane and discussed the film, which celebrates its 20th anniversary. He tells the story about how Larenz Tate landed the memorable role of O-Dog, how rapper Saafir was casted.... and also, how he met the late, great Tupac Shakur.
