  • Game Promotes Petition Calling For G-Unit ReUnion

Game and his camp have been hinting that he would be open to a G-unit reunion for some time. First, Game said so himself on his track “Scared Now” off 2012′s Jesus Piece. His manager, Dontay “Taydoe” Kidd, told the Wall Street Journal that he has been attempting “to make [a reunion] happen.” Now, the rapper and reality tv star is trying a new approach.

The Compton emcee used his Facebook page to promote a new website, gunitreunion.com, which allows fans of the rap collective to sign a petition asking that Game, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck put aside their differences and comeback together for another project.

“It’s about time we gave the world what they want, a ‘Reunion’, there is no doubt that if the group reformed they would smash their way to the top again,” states a message on the website.

The site has already gained over 5,000 signatures, and while fans seem to want to see a comeback, other former members of G-Unit haven’t sounded to optimistic about the idea in recent interviews.

Yayo spoke with MTV news telling them he’d be interested in a 3-man G-unit returning, “I would love to see a G-Unit reunion. I would love to see me, Banks and 50 definitely onstage.”

When it comes to working with Game again, Yayo wasn’t as open-minded. “My problem with [Game] is that once he got to the point where he wanted to be, where he sells 5 million records, it was ‘G-Unot.’ So like why would you want a reunion now if you want to be the guy to try to bring down the brand and the name?”

Last week G-Unit leader 50 Cent seemed to put an end to any type of reunion ever taking place when he addressed the possibility with Ear Candy Mornings on Sirius Hip-Hop Nation. When asked if a reunion will happen, 50 responded, “probably not.”

He then added, “I don’t care what other people want. I give a fuck what they want. A reunion? You can kiss my motherfucking ass as far as that’s concerned.”

It won't happen as 50 and game's ego's are to big especially after 50 cents recent reply to the situation.

" You’re not gonna get nothing back together. I decide that. I do what I want to do. I don’t give a fuck what they talking about on a blog post. Every time there was nothing going on [Game] said “Fuck you, 50” to generate some sort of new interest. But now that doesn’t work anymore. So you gotta figure out a new way to do it. And now it’s saying, ‘We’ll get G-Unit back together!’

If it worked it would be something cool that I did. [But] what would you say if I actually did put it together and then it fell apart right in front of you? Or if I bring them around each other and their feelings from a long time — the disrespect and the talking — bleed over into the people that are just around them and then one of them gets shot and killed, or one of them gets stabbed and hurt bad. Then what?

Say what you wanna say about his music, Fif is spot on with everything he stated above. Spot on."
