AraabMUZIK Set To Release First New Project Since Getting Shot

Back in early May reports began to circulate that Dipset associate AraabMUZIK had been shot during an attempted robbery. Now the self-described “MVP of the MPC” has recovered enough from his injuries to release a brand new project.

The Remixes, Vol. 1 will be a compilation album featuring remixed tracks by artists on Ultra Records. Ultra is home to popular EDM acts like deadmau5, Calvin Harris, and Steve Aoki.



The LP will also contain two original songs. One new track, “Keep It In Motion,” will feature New Orleans emcee Chase N. Ca$he.

This will be Araab’s fourth official project after 2011′s Electronic Dream, 2012′s Instrumental University, and 2013′s For Professional Use Only.

The Remixes, Vol. 1 is scheduled for a digital only release on July 9th.
