For the last 9 months Nassau County police and U.S. Marshals have been searching for aspiring rapper Agdnan McLeod, aka Duffle Bag Agg, on second degree murder charges. McLeod was finally arrested in Sacramento, California after allegedly crisscrossing the country from New York City to Atlanta to San Francisco.
An arrest warrant for McLeod was issued in January after police suspected the 23-year-old was involved in the 2012 killing of Ramel Blanco in Hempstead Village.
Blanco was found shot in the street on the evening August 1. The victim was transferred to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A second suspect is already in custody.
While he released a few mixtapes and uploaded several videos online, Duffle Bag Agg did not appear to be on the cusp of becoming a Hip Hop star. The highlight of the self-described “#1 Trapper’s” rap career was appearing on the YouTube channel of Wave Space Digital.
