  • Perez Hilton Sues Black Eyed Peas’ Manager Over Alleged Attack

Perez Hilton filed a civil lawsuit against Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina on Wednesday (June 24), stemming from a highly publicized altercation with him and Will.i.am, which resulted in the celebrity blogger being struck in the face.

According to Associated Press, Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira) sued the Peas' road manager in Los Angeles for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking unspecified damages of more than $25,000.

In the suit, Hilton claims he was attacked by Polo because of comments he made about the Black Eyed Peas' new album on his PerezHilton.com blog. The documents then go on to details the events that led up to Polo's alleged assault of the celebrity blogger.

The complaint states Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie approached Hilton on Saturday (June 20) and asked why he was writing "mean" things about her and the Peas, to which Hilton replied that he was "simply being honest and truthful about his opinions of them."

Then on Sunday (June 21), Hilton claims he was pushed by an unidentified member of the Black Eyed Peas' entourage, who "slammed his shoulder into Hilton's shoulder and thereafter pushed him."

Later that night, Fergie again allegely approached him at an afterparty for the Much Music Video Awards, followed by an argument with will.i.am at another party. Much like we previously reported, Will.i.am, Perez and Polo had a run-in early Monday morning (June 22) following yet another afterparty, which turned into a heated argument. The three men yelled back and forth, until Perez told Will, "you're not a f***ing artist ... you're a f***ing f*ggot."

That's when the scene turned chaotic, and Perez was allegedly punched in the face.

He sustained injury to his eye and was bleeding "as a result of this violent and malicious attack," the lawsuit claims.

Hilton is claiming medical costs and damages due to "humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress."
