The bitter divorce case between rapper Nas and Kelis continues ...
According to TMZ, Nas is claiming that he's paid his soon-to-be-ex more than she's said in court filings, and says he makes a lot more than she thinks.
Kelis seems to think the rapper made nearly $11 million for his album deal with Def Jam, but in legal papers, Nas says that's not true ... not even close.
"I did not receive even half that amount," the papers read. He claims to making around $4 million, and says his income has been on a steady decline, pulling in just $147,165 a month.
With expenses of around $71,000 a month -- including $10,000 a month in clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects -- Nas says he's not making much.
Kelis has claimed that her hubby hasn't supported her whatsoever since they split. She wants around $20,000 a month in child support -- covering costs such as a baby nurse, a nanny, and other staff, as well as strollers, cribs and other baby supplies for homes both in Los Angeles and New York.
Nas, who says he wants to be "fully involved" in the parenting of their child, claims he's agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling and $1,598 for two cribs.
He thinks $5,000 a month is a more reasonable request, and within his budget.
The couple was married in July 2003, and Kelis filed for divorce in May. Their first child together is due this month.
