  • Suge Knight Will Stand Trial On Murder Charges & Has Bailed Reduced

Cle "Bone" Sloan, the witness in alleged Suge Knight hit-and-run, says he “will not be used to send Suge Knight to prison.”

Months after former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight was allegedly involved in a deadly hit-and-run, the Associated Press reports that Knight will in fact stand trial on murder and attempted-murder charges.

According to the Associated Press, a ruling on the matter was made today (April 16) by Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen.

The ruling comes shortly after a hearing, which included testimony from Cle "Bone" Sloan, the second man allegedly struck by Suge Knight during the hit-and-run, reached its conclusion.

Sloan, who is also one of the advisers for the Straight Outta Compton biopic, was reportedly adamant about not being labeled a “snitch” or being the individual responsible for sending Knight to prison. At one point, Sloan is said to have stated that he “screwed up.”

"I will not be used to send Suge Knight to prison…Every day, I try to forget it. I just know, I screwed up, and Terry's dead," Sloan said during the hearing, according to the Associated Press.

When questioned by Knight’s attorney on if he agreed that Knight "hadn't attacked you in any form, fashion or manner,” Sloan reportedly responded with “yes.”

In addition to the announcement that Knight will stand trial, it was also revealed that his bail has been reduced from $25 million to $10 million.

If Knight is found guilty, the former music exec faces life in prison. Details on when Knight’s hearing will take place have yet to be revealed.
