I forgot to include the orginal version of "The Message" from It Was Written. The only differences between this and retail version is the Scarface sample at the beginning of the track and the slightly different drums/strings.

Here is a download to song for anyone who wants to download it - https://mega.nz/#!LsB2hAJA!GyjVHCdaH...1gNPg96-xbcm2I

I think that is where shit starts to get fucked up, I am all about the original source, no matter what the quality is. I do not mind remasters, as long as I have the initial leak for archiving. Sadly over the years, gems that have dropped have been transcoded many times over.
I guess you could say The Lost Albums Volumes are fan remasters, the guy who put the collection together had a friend/producer level out the sound on some tracks (raising the volume on quieter tracks) and getting rid of some of the tags and DJ tags on others.

The 2Pac unreleased scene is a mess... People have been remastering tracks themselves, tampering with them, degrading them, etc. We have so many different versions and rips for different tracks, it's literally impossible to sort them and find out what tracks are untouched.

thank you so much for the upload, i really appreciate the passion you display through the background depth you gave to us through each track. if you can please finish it of, i like nas - illmatic and the type of person he is. but the way you described the tracks make me feel more attached to his music in general.. i feel that way for 2pac and immortal technique. but for nas there only some tracks that do that for me.

I don't understand how people consider Nas a good rapper - sounds the same on every track and doesn't flow with the beats... and the lack of rhyming skills is just on another level. It's more like - he just speaks over beats. How is that rapping? I tried to bump a couple of the tracks including the shitty Deja Vu that people wanted to praise. Never really liked Nas and after years of not even trying to bump his stuff I thought I'd give him another chance... Nope. Annoying as fuck - almost on Jay-Z level.

If one relies on leaks and never takes out the wallet to obtain something, that is surely the case 100%. In most cases, buying stuff from other forum members is the same too.

I guess. I do appreciate all the leaks, but it's a shame a lot of them are tampered.

I don't have time to troll around. Nas delivers monotonic boring verses that lack dynamics and functional rhymes.

Lol. Well, you obviously know nothing about rhyming. At the end of the day, whatever you think about Nas is your opinion, I guess. I'm not going to sit here arguing with you because some of the points you have made are reasonable to a degree. But saying Nas isn't a GOOD rapper and his rhyming skills are BAD is completely wrong. That would be like me saying Kool G Rap, Big Pun, or Rakim's rhyming skills are subpar, it's just wrong on so many levels.

So be it then. If the last words of his lines don't rhyme, it just sounds lazy and bad. I noticed a few times that he had tried to sneak in a word that rhymes with his previous line, but failed by putting it in the middle of his next line. It doesn't work like that.

                          Blah blah boring blah dick,
                          Blah blah sick blah blah

                          Doesn't rhyme. Sorry.

I just edited my previous reply as soon as you replied to it. If you don't enjoy his music then so be it, but Nas is widely considered one of the greatest lyricists for a reason. Illmatic set and introduced a new standard for lyricism when it was released.

Yep. People can think what they want. Millions of people support Bieber and Jay-Z too. People with no singing skills go on America Idol thinking they are the shit. That's life. People are entitled to their opinions even when they are wrong. 1+1=2, but if you want to think it is actually 3, go ahead. How many people around the world believe in religious fairytales?

I own most Nas albums (including Illmatic) so what I am saying is that I really have tried to give him a chance many times. His last album is most likely still in the car. It sucked so much that I never brought it indoors.

appreciate the uploads for sure .
nas has never reached me in any way what so ever, even after trying several times.
                                jay-z is the same way.
