  • Suge Knight & Katt Williams Plead Not Guilty In Robbery Case

UPDATE #2 : Knight and Williams allegedly stole a celebrity photographer's camera last year.

Suge Knight and Katt Williams appeared in court yesterday (October 27) to re-enter their not guilty pleas in a robbery case, the Associated Press reports.

The two defendants had to enter their pleas a second time because a judge ruled that they should stand trial for the incident where a celebrity photographer claims they stole her camera.

In their last court appearance, Knight held a sign wishing happy birthday to his son up to the court cameras. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen reprimanded the Rap mogul, who has had other difficulties in the case.

The Death Row co-founder is also facing murder charges for an alleged hit-and-run on the filming site of Straight Outta Compton. He is being held on $10 million bail.

The next hearing in the robbery case is scheduled for November 30.

Suge Knight is scheduled to appear in court today (October 13) for his robbery case involving a stolen camera, according to the Associated Press.

The prosecutor will lay out the evidence to support the case against Knight.

The report says that a judge denied the former Death Row Records boss' request for a delay in the hearing.

Knight and Katt Williams both pled not guilty to the charges surrounding the incident where they allegedly stole a celebrity reporter's camera.

Knight is also facing murder charges in a separate case involving a hit and run near the set of Straight Outta Compton.

(This story was first published on September 17, 2015 and is as follows.)

The hearings for Suge Knight's murder and robbery trials were postponed by a judge today (September 17), the Associated Press reports.

The proceedings regarding Knight's murder case were delayed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen.

Knight is being charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run after he allegedly ran over three men, killing one of them, in January. He was visiting the set of the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton, and got into an altercation with Cle "Bone" Sloan and Terry Carter. Carter was killed.

Last year, the Rap mogul and comedian Katt Williams were arrested for allegedly stealing a celebrity photographer's camera. Both pled not guilty to the charges.

Coen granted Knight and his lawyer's request for continuance. The hearing for the prosecution to present its evidence is now set to occur October 13.
