  • Mack 10 @ VladTV

In this clip, Mack 10 starts out his first-ever VladTV interview by speaking about growing up in Inglewood in the 1980s at the height of the crack era. He explained that growing up on Queen Street was "off the chain," as Mack 10 explained that cars would be lined up on the block like on the freeway. When asked about the area being known for a high presence of Bloods, Mack 10 explained that he was never pushed to join, but he added that sometimes you were involved even if you weren't affiliated. To hear more, including Mack 10 speaking about losing friends in junior high, hit the clip.

Mack 10 on Westside Connection's Role in the East Coast vs. West Coast Beef (Part 6)

In this clip, Mack 10 recounted the East vs. West beef and refuted the notion that the situation was sparked by the infamous Vibe Magazine cover. For Westside Connection, and Mack 10 in particular, the issue was about a lack of respect west coast rappers received from their east coast counterparts.

Tha East Was Saying What West And South Did Wasnt Hip Hop That They Cant Rap Cant Freestyle And Influenced The Culture In A Negative Way. Simple As That. Damn I Hate That Real Hip Hop Talk. Like X Is An MC But Y Isn't. Its Hip Hop To Rap About Rapping (How Stupid Is That?) But When MCs Rappers Rap About The Everyday Life (In The Hood) It Is Not "Hip Hop".

Yes, his first VladTV interview after all these years, and all he is saying is "aha", "yeah" and "what did you hear about it?".

I don't read YouTube comments, but I guess some people are happy that "officer Vlad" didn't get him to say anything.

And you don't have to tell it all, but this just isn't a good interview, his shield is up too much.
