I kind knew after game 3 that Dallas was going to win it all, Miami got tired, but that is no excuse at all.

I hope the media and the fans don't talk shit about Miami. I know they can overcome the back talking, but it kind of hurts when it's repetitive in my opinion.

As great as Terry was, isn't it fair to suggest that Dirk's supporting cast was above-average at best? Jason Kidd is 38 and became the oldest point guard ever to start in The Finals. Nobody wanted Shawn Marion a year ago. DeShawn Stevenson was an afterthought. J.J. Barea is 5'8". Tyson Chandler was considered a high school bust by many and Brian Cardinal's nickname is 'The Custodian.' Not to mention, Caron Butler -- arguably the team's best perimeter defender and second best scorer -- never got out of street clothes. As a friend proclaimed to me last night; "these are all solid players, but look at who they went up against."

I'm sure the Heat will eventually win a championship in the next few years, but I agree, no one is going to be the "next Jordan", they can compare people to him all they want but there will only ever be 1 Michael Jordan and lebron is not nearly on his level. Not even considering the whole 4th quarter points thing (where Jordan would always be at his best, not worst ala Lebron) but also his attitude and not being whiny and proclaiming himself a king, etc etc. And the fact that he was always on the 1st team all defensive team every year too.

miami will win a championship, but it just wasnt there time. I feel bad for bosh though, he is a really good guy and he is actually from dallas! Dont really care for wade or lebron but if he stayed with the cavs and eventually won some championships with them he would be right up there with the mj comparisons, but as long as he has wade and bosh even if they win multiple rings he will never be looked at in the same light.
