Yeah, great basketball being played. Flopped on Jackson earlier at the 3 too. NBA has the absolute worst referees of any league. But yeah, "congratulations" Thunder. Looks like they'll be playing the Celtics. Rondo vs Westbrook (I can see the headlines now).
I will admit there were some bad calls (that's what happens when you get Joey Crawford to ref your game). That Westbrook and-1 in particular stood out to me because Parker (I think it was him) didn't touch him at all. I've said it a lot but the NBA is just sooooo hard to make calls for because a lot of them can go either way. The Ginobli foul in the fourth quarter was just a bad call though.

Congrats to the Spurs, great sports all around. Apparently Duncan said to Durant that this is his league now. Passing the torch.

But I'm happy that OKC was able to pull the w. Now Boston, your turn!

    • Yeah, I'm not saying that the entire team is a flop. I've never seen Durant pull that bullshit. And that Westbrook one, I don't think that was his intention either. He just happened to fall after that shot. Just a bad call. But Harden ticks me off. This dude is a fucking plague to that team. Yeah, he hits "big shots" but that doesn't take away from the bullshit he pulls. They let dude get away with murder on the court. Other than that, seriously congrats to them. It will be interesting to see the Celtics/Thunder matchup simply because Rondo & Perkins are such good friends. Somebody's going home with their feelings hurt. lol

hey i was not happy my spurs lost and yes harden does flop and i was pissed about that manu offensive of foul, but it looked like the right call, manu was movin him when he set the pick, it looked dat way, i mean i understand what u mean, but it looked like the right call after seeing the replay, but fuck the spurs were ice cold from perimeter shootin in the 4th nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

        • and for the other flops around the league its up to the refs and league comish to fix dat shit regarding floppin, some are good actors but like jeff van gundy said, whoeva flops tecnical foul and it will help stop some of these bs floppin, is not only harden, fisher does it too, the pg from the heat and others i cant rembember right now, but stop dat and i do hate when durant flings his arms underneath the defenders and gets called for foul when the defender is just guardin him straight, although they changed the rule a bit i dont like dat, its like a cop out girly move now if the defender does bite on a fake and the ofensive player jumps and it a foul, i dont mind dat, but just jackson stands there and durant does the underneath side way shootin motion shot, i dont like dat 1

          • oh shit i forgot i hated the offensive foul called on jackson i think it was late 3rd quarter, when he said a pick on harden and harden snapped his head back like a truck hit him dat was bullshit but the manu 1 i can understand more, more of a bang bang call.

But besides dat i thought it was a great game up by 18 then thunder stormed back wit kds clutch shootin and snipper 3s and dat crowd wow, mayb best in the nba now, parker was just tired i think in the 2nd half guardin russ and scorin all dat in the 1st half, so i guess the thunder will win the ring, no way dat heat or celts can beat them in the finals

I dunno man, The Celtics throughout their playoff runs have looks relatively shaky. They went to a 7 game series against an 8th seed... They have been playing a lot better in their recent games against the Heat, but it's gonna be tough to play against the Thunder. OKC has shown throughout the last series that they can will themselves to the finish.

But we'll see if Boston can close out Miami tonight.

                  • miami will win the playoffs man, u will see this will be a good game today ... i luv them

so many great players like lebron for example , the only problem miami have is their coach , they should have fired him last year but they didnt lol

so i hope they will get back in mind that basketball is a teamsport ....

and if they losse then its not a problem if lebron will stay there , they will definately win a championsship with him , like i said before the only problem is the management

bro I'm sorry to tell you but lebron is too soft to lead anyone to a championship

People want him to be a jordan but the sad truth is he is just a scottie pippen

                      • lebron is not clutch dats the major problem, a 3 time mvp and no clutch gene, wtf at least show somethin, i know their strategy is lebron dominates the 1st 3 quarters then wade closes, but dats wrong, lebron should do somthin wit closin have the guts to take big shots at the end and dont be scared, dat wat jordan, wade, kobe dirk bird neva had, they neva wer scared of takin big shots, they not afraid

                        • The thing with Lebron is that most of the time he doesn't even want to take the shot. People can live with you missing shots at the end. It's when you don't even want any part of the ball at the end that has people puzzled. It's almost like he plays "Hot Potato" with the ball (like last year's finals). He's hit big shots in the past (the evidence is there) but he's just inconsistent. Honestly though, he couldn't win over people anyway. If he hits a shot within the last minute, people wonder why he didn't hit it within the last 30 seconds. If he hits it then, they wonder why he didn't make a shot in the last 10 seconds. There's no winning either way. Dude admitted he couldn't do it himself (history proves nobody can, that's why he hooked up with Wade & Bosh in Miami). Perhaps he's just not that player everybody thinks or wants him to be. He's not a closer and he's probably accepted that fact unfortunately. Rather than work at it, he admits defeat. It's probably why he won't ever raise a banner. A shame too, as the boy can ball.

                          • One of the problems with Miami besides some poor coaching is that they are not a cohesive group. Individually Lebron, Wade and Bosh are great players. But together they just don't mesh. It doesn't help that their supporting cast (sans Chalmers) is largely inconsistent. Also their is no "leader." A lot of people are quick to label Lebron one, but in the playoffs his presence is largely missed in gamewinning situations. Guys like Rondo and Durant are leaders because they make the right plays just when you think their team is about to lose.

It doesn't help that he was branded as "The Chosen One," even before he entered the league. He has had so much to live up to.

I think Kenny Smith said it best when he said that there are teams where they need to write up plans for multiple people in order to get a good look to take the final shot, and there are teams where you give the ball to their star player and see what happens. Jordan is that player. Kobe is that player. Lebron SHOULD be that player but he's just so passive. Why give the ball to Chalmers when you are one of the biggest stars on your team? Doesn't make sense to me.

I hope Lebron does win a ring eventually, but he has to learn to trust himself in those situations if he wants to win one.

                            • some1 on espn was sayin i think tim legler, dat lebron is just not a great shooter , so towards the end he misses alot of shots or tries to go through the defense and makes throws wild shots, he pointed out dat the best clutch guys eva, jordan, kobe, dirk etc, they can make the shots towards the end inside the 3point line cause they great perimeter shooter and they wont go inside cause the defense at the end will create a wall or double them, so they clear out 1 on 1 and make the game winning shots, but he mentioned lebron is not dat great of a shooter, so he cant make dat many game winners like jordan or kobe or dirk did or bird, but lebron is great at everythin else, rebound defense scoring in the 1st 3quarters passes etc, but at the end of the game he can hit dat final shot cause he aint dat ggreat of a perimeter shooter.
