  • Kris Humphries Re-Signs With Brooklyn Nets, Jabs Kanye West Via Twitter

The Brooklyn Nets have re-upped with Kris Humphries, with both sides agreeing to a deal for his return on Tuesday (July 17), following a huge season for the power forward.

According to ESPN.com, the 27-year-old NBA player agreed to a two-year contract, worth $24 million.

Humphries made the announcement on Twitter, adding a little jab to Kanye West, who famously threatened to call in a favor to Jay-Z to get him "dropped from the team" in his single, "Way Too Cold."

"I'm up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ "lucky I didn't have Jay drop me from the team" lol!" Humphries tweeted (@KrisHumphries).

Kris averaged averaged career highs of 13.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game last season.
