This was the first game I've seen since the exhibition games... for me the excitement was how many records the US would break, not the actual game itself. It's funny too because Andre Iguodala (the guy who made the shot to put the US over Brazil in all-time scoring) is Nigerian himself :P

But yeah, everything was clicking for the US. Kobe, Carmelo, Durant, Lebron, James Harden, Westbrook... just everyone was in rhythm. Kobe really set the tone in the first half and Carmelo was a straight assassin. When the US team plays like this they are practically unbeatable. The whole game just unreal, shooting over 80% from 2 pt range and over 60% from 3! Heck, even the the US field goals made from 3 was more than all the ones made from Nigeria! Game wasn't exciting, but it was simply unreal.

i feel the same, it was also the first game in olympics i watched full.. and it was an excitement, but also boring, but exciting .... lol [MENTION=2072]Klockwork i feel u man, but still unbelievable to see how they can shoot these three pointers.. i have never seen this before.. it was simply amazing.. but the enemies were tooo bad.. i wonder which team can be a normal enemy for the dream team?!

i love to see how they show they are the best, but i still would prefer it to see a competition with a good enemy.. i wanna see a fight..

Spain is gonna give the US some challenge, that's for sure. They've got the size advantage with the Gasol brothers and with no true center in the US other than Chandler, it'll be the true test of how good the their team is.

It's been like that for a while haha. NBA commissioner David Stern has actually talked about making a ban so that it's only NBA players 23 and under after this Olympics. Personally I don't mind seeing the pros playing for the Olympics but this ban would definitely give other countries some leverage.
