The NBA unveiled Thursday (December 27) the voting results thus far for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game... and it's Kobe Bryant leading the way.
Bryant is leading everyone on the ballot, getting 977,444 votes, while the Miami Heat's LeBron James is close behind with 970,314 votes.
In the Western Conference, Kobe is followed by OKC's Kevin Durant (924,898 ), while the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony (891,759) sits behind James in the East.
According to NBA.com, James, Anthony and the Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett (328,716) pace the Eastern Conference's frontcourt players. The Heat's Dwyane Wade leads all Eastern Conference backcourt players with 645,875 votes, followed by the Celtics' Rajon Rondo (574,272).
Bryant is joined in the backcourt by intra-city rival Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers with 542,564 votes. Durant leads all frontcourt players in the West, followed by the Lakers' Dwight Howard (616,150) and the Clippers' Blake Griffin (489,795).
