Michael Jordan celebrated his 50th birthday recently, where he was honored by the sports world with various TV specials and more. But, he just received some bad news ... in the form of a lawsuit.
According to TMZ.com, the basketball great has been sued by a woman who claims he fathered her 16-year-old son ... and wants him to take a paternity test to prove it.
Pamela Smith filed a paternity suit in early February in Georgia, claiming she became pregnant with Jordan's child after having sex with him in 1995.
In June 1996, she gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds (aka Taj). This was when Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy.
In the suit, Pamela wants full custody and child support, and also wants Jordan to pay the kid's medical expenses. Additionally, she wants the judge to make Jordan the boy's legal last name.
Taj released a clip on Youtube in December, claiming to be Jordan's son as well. Jordan's camp had no comment as of press time.
