It's all about the Eastern Conference this year tbh. Those matchups are gonna be fun to watch.

Honestly though it's hard to say who's even gonna make it out of the Western Conference this year. It would've been OKC but with no Westbrook it's up for grabs between Memphis, OKC, and San Antonio.

Looks like I had my East picks right. Heat in 5 over Bulls, Pacers in 6 over Knicks. Was off on my West picks. Had Thunder over Grizzlies in 7 (was actually Grizzlies over Thunder in 5) & Spurs over Warriors in 5 (was actually Spurs over Warriors in 6).

          Predictions for Conference Finals.....

          Spurs in 6.
          Heat in 6.

My predictions were right but the # of games were completely off haha (Spurs series was longer than I thought, while OKC's was shorter, etc.) I think we're in for a long series for both conferences honestly.

            Spurs in 6.

Heat in 7... Pacers are undefeated at home, so if they can force a best of 3 I've got no doubt in my mind they can force it to 7.

CONGRATS TO THE SPURS FOR SWEEPING THE GRIZZ!

Unfortunately though I feel like they won't beat Miami if they meet face-to-face in the finals. Which is a shame, cuz it'd be nice to see Tim get another ring.

Spurs, most boring team in the NBA, Miami...my most hated, I'd rather bore myself to death watching the Spurs beat Miami then have Miami win another championship

Well Miami won last night... I've got them winning in 6. Lebron is no longer the weak-minded player he was years ago, which was definitely the difference during their 2011 run and Lebron's runs in Cleveland. Last time I bet on em tho they fell short to the Mavs haha don't fail on me Heat!

If Wade & Bosh get out of that funk (Battier coming out his funk would be nice too), then I'll give it to the Heat in 6. If there's still struggles, 7. As good as the Spurs are with Popovich, Parker, Duncan, Ginobili... if that Heat team shows up that showed up in that game 7.... not giving the Spurs much of a chance. Them guys were swarming last night. Pacers couldn't even dribble the ball at times, those traps were nasty. Didn't have much breathing room. So yeah, we've witnessed the Heat's potential but whether they decide to show up like that is a whole different story.

Do not underestimate the power, skill, versatility & experience Gregg Popovich holds over a 40 year old Miami Heat coach.

Oh I don't. There's no argument there, Popovich > Spoelstra any day of the week. It's the players that will make the difference in this series IMO. Heat roster > Spurs roster. The players still have to execute the coach's game plan. Either way, I see a long series. No sweep happening here. 6 games minimum.

Yeah that's the dope thing about it, it's not gonna be like that series where I had to watch in agonizing pain The Lakers sweep my Orlando in 08'

Who gets the first home court advantage by the way? please don't say Miami does.

Heat had the best record in the league this season. Meaning home court advantage through the Finals. So yes, Miami does. Lol

The format is changed though. It's now 2-3-2 instead of the 2-2-1-1-1 format of the quarter finals/semi-finals/conference finals.

Oh I def don't underestimate Pop, his coaching is superior to Spo's. I'm just giving Miami the benefit of the doubt because they've proven that they can beat teams with their small lineups. However, if Wade and Bosh plays like they did last series, the Spurs will handle Lebron like they did back when they last met in the finals.

I've always hated this format. I understand why they do it like that, I'm just not a fan of it.

I'm lovin that format actually, in a way it balances everything out more so the team that had the best record in the season doesn't get the home court advantage in the 5th which can make a significant difference, makes it a little more fair since Miami has the opportunity to get a winning head start in the series with their home floor
