  • Clippers' Chris Paul Out With Separated Shoulder

The Los Angeles Clippers will have to press on without All-Star guard Chris Paul for, at least, three to five weeks after he went down with injury during their game against the Dallas Mavs Friday night (Jan. 3).

CP3 suffered a separated right shoulder when he crashed to the floor after being fouled by Dallas guard Monta Ellis in the third quarter. He'd leave the game and not return.

After the game, it was announced that he had separated his shoulder.

"He's down," Rivers said. "He's out at least three to five weeks and maybe more. We don't know that [yet]. We know it's a separated shoulder. We don't know what grade it is, yet. We'll probably send him home, and he'll get evaluated in L.A., and just hope that's he's going to be O.K."

The Clippers said Paul will be examined in L.A. on Sunday (Jan. 5) and Monday (Jan. 6).
