LeBron James may be one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, but that didn't matter to a bartender in Florida who demanded he show his ID.
According to The Post Game, the NBA superstar was recently at the bar at the team's hotel in Orlando to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes play Clemson in the Orange Bowl. When he ordered a drink, he was carded.
"Now that he talked about it, I'll tweet it: strangest thing I've seen was LeBron getting carded at hotel bar last nt. Bartender was serious," sports writer Ethan J. Skolnick tweeted (@EthanJSkolnick).
James reportedly responded: "Look at my beard!"
