          Jump around like an idiot = member of a gang where people wear clothes of a certain color? Really?

          In all seriousness, how did such things start to matter in gang circles? I can't imagine motorcycle gang members doing their traditional summer dance. That being said, I don't understand why motorcycles and leather vests are so important when in a gang.

            it is simple actually

            originally the crip walk was a dance to celebrate when an enemy gang banger got killed. over the years it became a trademark of crip gang affiliation.

            similar to when we achieve something nice , we dance. did you never shake your body to celebrate something, even if it just was meant to be humorous?

                  When do they celebrate generally? like after they've sprayed bullets from the drive by, the driver stops the car, then the shooter steps out, does the crip walk on the pavement, then rushes back to the car then then they speed off?
