  • Manny Pacquiao Says He'll Retire From Boxing In Three Years

Coming off a dominant win over Antonio Margarito just over a week ago, boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao revealed this week his plans for retirement.

Pacquiao told reports in the Philippines, on Monday (November 22), that he plans to retire in three years, explaining that he doesn't want to fight beyond the age of 35.

    He's currently 32 years old.

Right now, Pac-Man is focused on being a Filipino congressman, but the boxing world is wondering who's the next fighter will be to step into the ring with him.

Pacquiao, the only boxer ever to win title belts in eight different weight divisions, said Monday that he'd be willing to fight Juan Manuel Marquez again, but added that it may not be a fight fans will want to see.

"If I were a boxing fan," Pacquiao said, "I would not watch Pacquiao versus Marquez."

The fight the world wants is Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, as of press time, he did not mention whether Mayweather is an opponent he'd be fighting over the next three years.

Hopefully that changes soon! Come on, Mayweather, give the fans what they want already.
