Floyd Mayweather finally spoke to the media this week, for the first time since being release from a Las Vegas jail last Friday (August 3).
He strolled the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of 50 Cent's new movie Freelancers, and of course, asked about Manny Pacquiao by PopStopTV ... and when the fight would happen. While he kept his answers brief, making it clear he was only there to support Fif and not talk about boxing, he did say he hopes the anticipated bout will happen in the near future.
"I think Pacquiao's an unbelievable fighter and hopefully we can make the fight happen in the future," Mayweather said.
50 Cent recently entered the boxing world, after getting licensed to promote fights in New York. Many speculate that he plans to make the boxing super-fight happen ... in NYC in the near future. However, its unclear if plans or talks about it have begun.
