  • The Undertaker Hospitalized After First 'Loss' at WrestleMania

Legendary WWE Superstar The Undertaker was rushed to a hospital in New Orleans Sunday night after suffering a severe concussion.

WWE says Taker was injured during his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX -- doctors conducted various tests, including a CAT scan.

The 49-year-old wrestler suffered a concussion ... and he stayed overnight for further evaluation. He was released Monday morning.

In case you missed it ... Undertaker lost his match at WM 30 -- his first loss in the event's history -- and angry wrestling fans exploded on the Internet. #ThankYouTaker is still trending almost 24 hours later.

It's unclear if Undertaker will appear on Monday Night RAW.

I don't know whether this is real or not.

With WWE its hard to separate reality from entertainment. I'm also having a hard time believing Total Divas is unscripted.

It seems real though because they announced it during wwe programming and even said Vince went with Undertaker. Which is what the rumor stated as well the night before, however they left out the part of Brock Lesnar also accompanying Vince and Taker.

I think this messed up a lot of stuff because it has been rumored that Taker was suppose to come out on Raw and retire only to be stopped by the Debut of Sting, in which a last match would be made for WM 31. NO taker, so no Sting.

Taker asked Brock to end it back in 2010. He has gone on record saying he wanted Brock, Orton or Kurt Angle to end it years ago. He probably just wants to retire. I really thought though they would do Sting next year and then one final match with a young guy at WM32 in which Taker would lose and put a young guy over (like Cesaro, Reigns, Bray Wyatt)

But the thing about a young wrestler doing it, you don't know how their career will turn out and the fans would have booed them out of the building. The breaker of the streak would get a lot of heat, Brock did but he is suppose to be despised and hated.

He should retire already. He always ends up in the hospital after each wrestle mania.
