NFL's Chris Henry Dies

Chris Henry has died as a result of the injuries he sustained after falling out of the back of a moving pick-up truck yesterday.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police tell TMZ Henry died at 6:36 AM EST this morning.

He was 26.



As we previously reported, cops believe Henry -- a wide receiver on the Cincinnati Bengals -- jumped into the back of the truck, in an attempt to stop his fiancee from leaving a "domestic situation" at her parents' home in North Carolina.

Henry was rushed to a local hospital -- where he passed away this morning.

Authorities tell us they're still investigating the situation.

i heard bout this but im still confused...how fast was the truck goin for him to even hurt himself....how did he land...why didnt his wife help him...or whoever was drivin the truck...so many questions

all i got from it is that his wife or girlfriend whatever was trying to leave after they had just got done fighting and he jumped in the back of her truck trying to prevent her from leaving.. my guess is that she has some type of pick up truck.. so he jumped in and she just took off going 90 or somethin and he fell out and landed on his head...

there are not alot of details known but from what ive heard.. that what i got from all of it so far.. i hope to know what really happined soon though.. that guy was always in trouble all the time and decided this last year to finally turn his life around.. they let him back on the bengles and everything... its a shame this had to happen to him in this time of his life...

They had released the 911 calls made detailing the scene of the tragidy. One female caller described a bareback man with his arms in a cast at the back of the pickup truck banging the back window and arguing and the other caller described a man lying in the road lifeless.
