Now that he has a Super Bowl ring, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has set another big goal: becoming the owner of a professional sports franchise.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the 25-year-old revealed his future goals... and they're big.
"I want to be an owner of a team one day, whether it's baseball or football," Wilson said. "Maybe even both."
Wilson will visit the Texas Rangers spring traing facility next week, the team who selected him in the Rule 5 draft in December. He says he'll be paying attention too... because it will serve as a learning experience about how franchises work.
"The biggest thing is networking … you want to put your best foot forward," he tells WSJ.
