the refereeing was really bad....4 me, i am a casual soccer fan and this kind of hokey pokey officiating really chipped away at the credibility of the game. Can u imagine if that kind of crap went on in other sports like basketball! I guess its worse becuz soccer is a low scoring game, and when the refs screw up its more evident. The low scoring in this world cup didnt help either. It seemed like every match was either a draw or 1-0. Oh well........viva brazil 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!

the ref did a great job. de jong was lucky he didn't get sent off for that ridicolous boot to the chest, he must of thought he was jean claude van damme or something. too much fouling going on from both sides last night. he made the right call 95% of the night, well done webb!

Man i know De Jong was lucky and Van Bommel aswell.... but damn Inniesta was lucky as hell too, he should have gotten the red card..

Then we have a corner out of a free kick that should have been a corner and we didnt get it.

Just before spain scored Elia was blocke by 2 spain defenders and should have been obstruction no doubt. but no ref plays on.. and in these 10 - 20 seconds Inniesta is off side in first pass, then he gets the ball back and scores.

2 huge wrong doings if you ask me.

Robben should have gotten a penalty and did not.

Dont get me wrong the teams where both good and spain a little bit better. But the refferee is from england...... where refs are pretty smooth in giving cards etc. but this was utmost bullshit if you ask me.

i saw the whole game and i need to say holland played better in this final, spain was also good thats no question, BUT holland was just better! too bad they didnt had a bit luck to win it....

and about the whole world cup, refferees was dumb as hell, so many wrong decisions i never seen such a shit before... so u cant say now holland lost because of the refferee, is just because they didnt had a lil bit luck at the end...

so for the next world cup i hope bosnia and herzegovina wins the cup!!!!
