come next world cup .. i dont think they will be as strong .... some of the players will probably retire like xavi puyol etc ... so the team will probably become weaker ... then again, new players could come thru .... but i think this was the golden era for spain and it has to end soon just like it did for brazil several times in the past

Yup, parents born in Italy but I am born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Lots of disappointed Italian fans today but any true Italian soccer fan knows that no one expected us to make the run we did. That said, I think that Italian soccer fans have nothing to hang their heads about because they played this tournament with courage and gave honor to the jersey. Congratulations to Spain for their championship; they are, and have been the kings of soccer for the last several years.

I think Spain may win it again in 2014, but they won't in 2016 and 2018.
