Well you're just over a month late with this post lol. I was following this show, and I think SyFy made a mistake canceling it. It was just getting really good, and they still have 10 episodes left to air from season 2, proving that they canceled for reasons other than ratings. Probably to fill the time slot with another show that isn't science fiction.
