I saw this one today, surviving a plane crash in Canada right?

It's the only episode I've seen of this show and I was expecting so much more from this guy. He basically just camped out in the wreckage of the plane for 5 days, caught and ate one rabbit and then walked for 36 hours until the chopper picked him up. If this was real no way he would have survived a week without the rescue team.

Bear Gyllis would have got that plane working within the hour and flown it out of there in his sleep.

You got it backwards, man. Les Stroud (Survivorman) does it for real. He is all by himself for a week just surviving off the land. He is his own cameraman while doing it all. You should watch more than one episode to really get a better idea of it.

The Bear Grylls show "Man Vs Wild" is setup. He has a whole camera crew & safety team that travels with him & helps him. He does real demonstrations of survival techniques tho. His show is more about entertainment.

I like both shows, but I have more respect for Les Stroud.
