Comedy Central announced today that they've picked up South Park for an additional 3 seasons – taking the show all the way to a landmark 20 seasons for the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series. Original episodes will now continue to air all the way through 2016, with Matt Stone and Trey Parker continuing to write, direct and edit each and every episode.

"Week after week and season after season they continue to surprise and delight South Park fans, and that includes all of us here at Comedy Central. We're thrilled that the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman will continue through 2016."
