South Park: Season 16 is Here

South Park returns for Season 16, and Matt and Trey are ready to deliver some toilet humor... Quite literally.

South Park is back this week, as Season 16 of the series debuts. As always, we go into a new batch of South Park episodes very curious about what Matt and Trey will have in store for us. What topical events might they touch upon? Rush Limbaugh? Whitney Houston's recent death? Or might they just deliver something totally random, as we all know they also enjoy doing? Of course, there are also the episodes that blend together all of these elements, often creating something pretty special (and certainly unique) in the process.

Here's the official description for the season premiere, to give you an idea of what Matt and Trey are thinking about this week:

"After a South Park citizen meets with an unfortunate accident, the TSA steps in to prevent it from happening again. One of the boys had been told time and time again about leaving the toilet seat up after he goes to the bathroom, but he didn't listen. His actions have consequences and ultimately result in an unimaginable catastrophe."

idk.. the last couple seasons to me have been a bit weird... lol.. as in... almost "forced"... most episodes consist of the most random sht now and episodes based on current events... the current event ones are usually pretty funny but the others you can tell that matt and trey were like "wtf can we come up with?" and just seem to force out something stupid... the thing is.. they have admitted this too!!.. lol... but the people just still buy into it so they just keep doin it.. lol..

the first 10 seasons were well written... most after went down hill...

i cant believe matt and trey signed off on another contract...

season 16 had a stupid first episode. this is not the south park i remember watching over 10 years ago. they are getting on my nerves with these stupid topics, but i guess thats money for ya, makes people do stupid shit

Just finished watching 15 session. It just seems like brunch of toilet humor thrown together without a actual point.

I'm still enjoying just about every episode I see. It's pretty rare I can't sit thru one. It's usually a stupid ep full of singing that I'll skip.
