AMC’s The Walking Dead is a freaking ratings machine and yet again it has broke the ratings record by beating the show’s previous cable ratings for the show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the season finale of The Walking Dead drew in 9 million total viewers which includes “6 million in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demo, 5.3 million in adults 25-54 and 3.2 million in 18-34; the demo numbers topped basic-cable records set by February’s Season 2 midseason premiere.”
This episode drew in more than 30 percent in total viewers compared to the season 1 finale, pretty damned impressive.
Repeats of the season 2 finale at 11.30pm managed to draw in 10.5 million total viewers, I think its safe to say that we just can’t get enough of The Walking Dead.
Now we wait ever so patiently for season 3, even though it seems like a distant thought at least we have 16 brand new episodes to look forward to.
