Futurama returns June 20th and beginning today you can see a new piece of exclusive content on their Facebook page every day!
Today, Comedy Central kicks off its 50 Day "Countdown to Futurama" on Facebook!
The network will post exclusive content on the Futurama Facebook page each day, for 50 days, leading up to the June 20th Season 7 premiere of Futurama.
On May 7th, Executive Producer David X. Cohen will begin to host weekly podcasts (seven all together), featuring a rotating cast of the show's writers and producers, offering up humor and insight pertaining to the show's inner workings – including a look at images from upcoming episodes, as well as character designs, stills, storyboards and concept sketches. Each podcast will also feature at least one 20-60 second video clip from an upcoming all-new episode. The podcasts will only be available on iTunes.
To kick things off today Countdown-wise, you can head over to the Futurama Facebook page and see a sneak peek clip from the season premiere episode, "The Bots and the Bees."
In addition to Facebook, Comedy Central will integrate the "Countdown To 'Futurama'" on-air and online, including a daily feature on the CC Insider blog, the COMEDY CENTRAL Tumblr page and on mobile via SMS messaging.
Futurama: Season 7 premieres on June 20th at 10pm on Comedy Central.
