Adult Swim has just announced its slate of pilots for their 2012-2013 season. Among the potential new shows are the Harold & Kumar animated series as well as Rick & Morty, a 30-minute cartoon from Community’s Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland.
The Harold & Kumar series was already reported to be in development last fall, but this is the first time the new show was said to be paired with Adult Swim. Rick & Morty follows a “genius inventor grandfather and his less than genius grandson, and the journeys in life they share.” The announcement follows the news of Harmon’s questionable return to Community. As of right now, it’s still uncertain if he'll be back for Season 4, at least in the same showrunner capacity.
