A&E will not continue with the action drama.
A&E has cancelled Breakout Kings after two seasons on the air. The news comes just two weeks after the show's second-season finale.
Breakout Kings, which followed U.S. Marshals working with convicted criminals to track down prison escapees, was originally passed over by the Fox Network back in 2010 and subsequently picked up by A&E after lengthy negotiations. The series ends after 23 episodes over two seasons
