With genre TV really picking up speed again, its no wonder that all sorts of projects are being optioned for a shot at TV, but I’m guessing you never seen this one coming.
According to MovieHole, “Park Entertainment are packaging 26 one-hour episodes of a show that, like the two “Lawnmower Man” features that preceded it, will combine live-action and some rather state-of-the-art special and visual effects.”
The site is assuming that The Lawnmower Man series will follow the route the films took instead of Stephen King’s original short story which concerned a man who conjures up an unholy, lawnmower to cut a clients lawn, but not before he munches on the grass himself.
