With the alleged cataclysmic demise coming this December 21st, Spike TV has greenlighted the new competition reality series, The Last Family On Earth according to Deadline.
Pilgrim Studios will be producing the six-episode one-hour series this Fall and the winning family will move into their bunker, yes, bunker. And no, this isn’t a joke.
“The doomsday scenarios that will be played out on the show include a pandemic, global government or economic collapse, nuclear war, reactor meltdowns, solar flares, massive asteroids, lethal climactic change, a pole shift, calamitous earthquakes, and even widespread anarchy.”
The show will showcase survival techniques along with endurance and psychical skills. The families will be judged by a panel of three survivalist-expert judges with a family being eliminated each week.
If you believe the world will end this December, this may just be the show for you.
