The direct-to-DVD Superman Vs. The Elite animated movie just came out on DVD and Blu-ray. And it included this featurette about the making of the forthcoming adaptation of Frank Miller's groundbreaking The Dark Knight Returns, which comes out this fall. Check out an early glimpse of some of the unfinished animation, plus comments from producer Bruce Timm, writer Bob Goodman (Warehouse 13) and director Jay Oliva. This could be the coolest thing to come out of DC's animated DVDs thus far.
