  • The Munsters May Not Return to TV After All?

A potential new show we've been avidly following may not ever reach the small screen. Deadline reports things are not looking good for NBC's reboot of The Munsters, Mockingbird Lane.

The Bryan Fuller-created, Bryan Singer-directed pilot episode failed to connect with NBC's top dogs and while a final decision has yet to be made, it doesn't look like Mockingbird Lane will be taken to series.

In the show, Jerry O'Connell plays Herman Munster, Portia De Rossi is Lily, Eddie Izzard is Grandpa, Mason Cook plays Eddie and Charity Wakefield is Marilyn.

Fuller countered Deadline's report by saying, via his Twitter account, that the news is "Dead wrong." I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Fuller is currently at work on Hannibal, another genre series with David Slade directing the pilot.

Update: There’s a good chance that Deadline isn’t on the money with this, as Fuller tweeted that the site’s story is wrong, and suggested that he’ll have better news soon.
