When a casting call went out for a Game of Thrones drummer, Will Champion was all like "You can count on my steel!"
From EW.com: Following in the footsteps of Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody's upcoming cameo, Coldplay drummer Will Champion will appear in Season 3 of HBO's Game of Thrones.
All anyone's been told at this point is that Champion will be playing a drummer. He may or may not have speaking lines. He may or may not be killed. But during his time on screen he will most likely hit a drum with a stick. If he tries to get the Westeros band to play "Fix You" though, I'm pretty sure they'll get mauled by direwolves.
