Its been a few weeks since we last heard anything on NBC’s upcoming series Hannibal, but with the passing of time it appears as if we have a little piece of casting news to fill out the remaining ranks.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Eddie Izzard has been cast in a guest-star role for Hannibal, Izzard will play an inmate at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane with Izzard’s character claiming to be “the infamous Chesapeake Ripper.”
Other guest-star’s include Gina Torres, Molly Shannon, Ellen Greene and Chelan Simmons.
Most recently Izzard played Grandpa Munster in the one-off special Mockingbird Lane.
