Now that we know Under the Dome is arriving on CBS beginning June 24th, let the casting announcements commence!
We begin with Colin Ford who, according to Deadline, will play "Joe" - one of the main players of Stephen King's novel. Intelligent and resourceful, Joe befriends the main protagonist of the tale, Dale Barbara.
In the novel, a small town in Maine is cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible dome. With air, food and patience dwindling, societal norms within this town begins to break down.
Ford was previously seen in We Bought a Zoo.
Niels Arden Oplev will direct the first episode of the 13-part series.
