  • "Zombieland” Series Cancelled, Amazon Passes On Pilot

Good decision i watched the pilot the other night and it was horrible.

Amazon Studios’ “Zombieland” pilot has ended its one month trial presentation and, sadly, the show will not continue. Not on Amazon at least, the network has passed on the series. While it’s technically possible the show could be passed on to another network, it’s probably not all that likely.

There were elements of the pilot I liked, but unfortunately the Amazon “voting” system – IMO – left the network completely off the hook in regard to its creative decisions. The pilot certainly wasn’t perfect, but most TV shows don’t find their stride until at least a few episodes in. Oh well.

The show was based on the hit Columbia Pictures movie of the same name, and found our four survivors outwitting zombies and searching for a place to call home. The Zombieland pilot came from the feature film’s original creative team, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Joe Schmo Show), and producer Gavin Polone (Gilmore Girls, Curb Your Enthusiasm). Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) directed the pilot.

More than a decade in and the fucking Zombie craze still runs rampant. Zombies are lame! Almost always! World War Z was a great book, but with idiots writing the film I doubt it will be anywhere near as good as the novel. And 'The Walking Dead' is really a secret government test to see how stupid the American public has become.

Oh, and on topic: Zombieland was a cool film.
It make homos game at females.

Ultimately it was never gonna come out, no way in the world it could compete against the walking dead

As a movie it was ok, but as a series??? Competing with The Walking Dead.....they would lose.
